Hannah Epstein is a third-year medical student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. After graduating, she worked for a year as a lab technician, conducted research on the neurobiology of drug-taking and drug-seeking behaviors in rats. Since starting medical school in 2019, she has been working with Dr. Aaron Fox and Dr. Andrea Jakubowski in the Division of Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center to study buprenorphine treatment for opioid use disorder at syringe services programs.
