Lynn R. Webster, MD, is a physician and researcher with a focus on pain, addiction, and drug-induced sleep disorders. Dr Webster is a Senior Fellow at the U.S. Center of Policy, a not-for-profit organization advancing solutions to some of our nation’s most pressing challenges, including the intertwined crises of improperly treated pain, substance misuse, and drug poisonings. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his residency at the University of Utah Medical Center’s Department of Anesthesiology. He is board certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and addiction medicine. He is the senior editor of Pain Medicine and serves as a peer reviewer of several professional journals, as well as a grant reviewer for the National Institute of Health (NIH).
